The whole story in a nutshell
Nestled in a vibrant area, this quaint hotel is just a stroll away from the beach and local attractions. With friendly staff who provided us with excellent local tips and arrangements, our stay was made even better. The clean rooms and good breakfast, especially the croissants, are not to be missed!

I liked my stay at this exceptionally comfortable hotel. I had the double room, it was bright. It had a bidet in the modern style bathroom. Welcoming staff and the location was great. The stay was really comfortable, recommend.

Avoid this place like the plague. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with the words "Passport" and then "key". We then followed the receptionist towards the only room in the establishment without a terrace or a balcony. Once I ascertained that we indeed had the only room without balcony or terrace, but with a lovely view of discarded pipes and ladders, I went to reception to request another room (the phrasebook came in handy as the receptionist had no English). When another receptionist joined us, she said we couldn't move to another room as we'd "already used the room". When I pointed out that we'd only checked in 15 minutes prior, she tried to use the argument "but you've already used the toilet." When they finally relented and gave us a new room with a stunning view of the mountains, the aircon didn't work and all the springs had gone on the left hand side of the bed.
This place is not a four star hotel. The pool (under a plastic roof) looks like it's filled with green effluent and had the appearance of a disused public toilet. There was no room service, active bar or restaurant. There was a sign up on the (empty) fridge saying it was strictly only for use for "hotel drinks". Despite us being initially led to the worst room in the hotel, there were bugger all people staying there (about five rooms appeared to be filled) which made for a bleak atmosphere. None of this is surprising given they didn't seem to care about anything.

What stands out, both good and bad
The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the city center and beach. The breakfast spread is good, with multiple options and delicious croissants. It's a lovely spot for a getaway.
Some issues with Wi-Fi connectivity made it frustrating at times. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool .

Staff really kind and structure well mantained. Nice rooms.
Air conditioning not always working and breakfast is not so differentiated.

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was really cool. The location is super convenient, just a short stroll to the city center and the beach. The staff were all really friendly and helped us with everything, especially with car rental. Breakfast was nice too, lots of options and their yummy croissants were def a highlight!
Only downside was that the wifi was kinda spotty in the room, and the aircon leaked a bit during the night. Could use a lil upgrade, but overall really enjoyed our stay!

Just an ideal choice for a date night in San Teodoro with great value for the money. Consider checking local dining options before your visit to make the most of your evenings.

The rooms are starting to show their age. The decor is basic and could use a facelift. The air conditioning? It has a mind of its own and sometimes barely does the job right. The shower situation isn't pretty either, with complaints about overflowing during use, giving a whole new meaning to 'wet room. ' Wi-Fi is hit or miss, leaving you high and dry when you want to check your messages. Parking can be chaotic, with limited spaces available. The surrounding grounds could use some sprucing up too, perhaps throw in some vibrant plants. It's a mixed bag, not exactly a five-star experience.

The room was really clean and had a nice vibe. The balcony was a great spot to kick back and enjoy the view. The character of the room. It was perfect for unwinding after a day out. Just a heads up, it might be a bit noisy at times, depending on the location of your room. But overall, pretty comfy for a quick stay!

The stay was pleasant, with convenient bike rentals nearby and spacious rooms that definitely fit the bill for comfort. The central location makes accessing restaurants a breeze, although the breakfast choice felt a bit basic for a hotel of this caliber.

Bonasi is great location just a few hundred meters from restaurants and a supermarket. We loved the clean rooms and the friendly staff were pretty good to help us rent a car. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the warm chocolate croissants. The fitness center and the sauna were nice touches for relaxation.

friendly staff but wifi needs improvement
The reception ladies were charming, especially Laura. Our room had unique character and a lovely balcony with an ocean view. Every morning, breakfast offered a good array including fresh pastries that started our day on a high note. The convenience of nearby restaurants.
The only notable downside was the inconsistent Wi-Fi connectivity, which posed some challenges.
